An Unending CurseI all I knew was that he wanted it. He was willing to kill me to get it, I don’t know why, but he has tried to. I barely escaped death’s kiss when my servants came running in, and there he was with a knife pressed against my throat. He’d be back, and I’d be ready.
A handsome pay would go to anyone willing to be my guardian. Not as many men applied for the job as I had hoped, and the ones that did only showed off their muscles. I didn’t need strength, rather someone with skill.
“How many more applicants?” I asked a maid.
She flipped through her notepad, “Looks like just one, but he’s late.” Fabulous. The man couldn’t even show up to his interview on time and he expects me to hire him as my guardian? What has society come to?
“ Ah, this must be him.” The maid said, looking out the window. I joined her to see who this man was.
Quite frankly, he wasn’t much. A tall, slim young man stepped out of a silver tr
How To Play Weeping Angel TagWhat you need:
A large room with places to hide and a light-switch
A large group of people
Weeping Angel Masks
Before you play:
Pick 3 people to be the Weeping Angels
Hide the 2 flashlights somewhere in the room
How to play:
Dim/Turn off the lights. Give the players, including the angels, 10 seconds to hide throughout the room. The angels then begin to pursue whoever they please while everyone else tries to run away. If you get tagged by an angel, you're out.
In this game, light stands in the place of your eyes. On occasion, someone will turn the lights on for several seconds. If you are looking at an angel during this time, the angel cannot move. However, the angel can move if the lights are off/dimmed and you are looking at it.
If you find a flashlight and point it at an angel, the angel cannot move. If someone with a flashlight gets tagged, both them and the flashlight are out.
The last person standing wins.

a dangerous hallucinationThe light coming through the window was bright,
much too bright.
Even though my eyes were closed
I could see it-
The skin of my arms prickled,
sweat dripped from my brow.
It was two in the afternoon but…
the sun was setting
through the window facing east.
I should have seen the hutch,
shelves lined with bone china
decorated with delicate leaves and vines.
I was so thirsty
and reaching for cups that should have been there.
Instead I found a billboard of butterflies,
the colors raging
more than any rainbow
I'd ever seen.
Their wings fluttered and flashed
yet somehow they moved in slow motion.
I wanted to stand,
wanted to reach out and touch them but…
I couldn't move,
and yet I laughed
ignoring my dry mouth
and the tingling in my feet.
There was a tempest
on the rise
and in my blood.
A sugar rush disguised
as a riot of butterflies
and they were swarming me.
There was a small vial
of insulin in my pocket
that I nev
